Everything goes with the SSD. Your conversations, projects, and all AI models live on the drive. When you unplug it, no trace remains on the host computer. Plug it into a different computer and pick up where you left off.

Uncensored (or "abliterated") models have had refusal behaviors removed. Cloud AI services add content filters because they're liable for their service output. Since VaultAI runs on your own hardware, you can choose models that answer directly without corporate guardrails. Yes. VaultAI uses Ollama as its model engine. You can pull any model from the Ollama library (4,400+ models) if you have available space on the SSD. Ultra ships with additional download-ready models listed on the product page.

Speed depends on your hardware and the model size. Smaller models (1B-8B) respond nearly instantly. Medium models (12B-32B) generate at conversational speed. Larger models (70B+) are slower but more capable. VaultAI shows the speed in the interface so you can choose the right model for your task.
